Hey guys it's Jared from Fight 4 Life and today I'm bringing you a 100 Rep Push Up Challenge.

So this is a really good test for upper body muscular endurance, not only that but you can smash your chest and triceps in anywhere between 3 and 15 minutes so it's a really effective use of a short amount of time.

So we're doing 100 Reps of the Push Up and you are going to need the following items. Stop watch, a body and the ability to count to 100… If you have these things at your disposal, than you have no excuses whatsoever…

So after you're all warmed up, you are going to start your stopwatch, and commence your push ups. Now what I would recommend is to knock out as many Reps as possible in the first hit, as your muscles will fill up with lactic acid as soon as you rest after your first attempt. You are allowed to stop as many times as you need, and it's a really good idea to shake your arms out in order to release some of the built up waste from your muscles. Continue until you complete 100 Reps, stop your stopwatch and then you will have your score.

If you cannot do more than 25 Push Ups in one hit, then you may attempt this on your knees, but only use your knees for this test until you are getting below 5 minutes. After this it is time to step it up with the big boys and do proper push ups.

After completing this push up challenge, you are to expect some muscle soreness as you've just done them a world of good, and they'll need to repair. You can expect improvements in your muscular endurance within your chest, triceps, and core, and obtain yourself a benchmark that you can use in a couple of months to be able to track your own progress.

So pretty much what you need to do is set up your stop watch, bust out 100 Push Ups, record your time and then recover as you grow.

So now it's your turn I challenge you to take on this challenge, so go and video yourself attempting your own 100 Rep push up test, upload your video to YouTube or facebook, and share the video URL to the comments section below and I can't wait to see your efforts.

So that's it for this week, next week I'll be taking you through a method that we like to use to jazz up our runs so make sure you tune in for that one. Until then, My name's Jared, have a fantastic week and I look forward to talking to you soon.

Take care and Stay Motivated.

Jared
