Hey guys it's Jared here from Fight 4 Life and today I have for you the first episode of a brand new idea called Survival Workouts.
So what are Survival Workouts?
As a fitness coach, you may be thinking that my soul purpose in helping you guys achieve awesome results is to absolutely obliterate you to the point where your muscles fail and you are sent on your merry way after a series of crying and bouts of throwing up all over the place…
This is actually not the case. Although I do enjoy pushing my clients to the point where they are forced to destroy their limits, continuously setting new benchmarks, my number one priority is to help you guys build solid daily habits.
One of which is being active every single day...
Now I know that most of you guys are very busy, and though I don't accept bullshit and excuses in any way shape or form as a valid reason not to be a big boy/girl and pencil some 'physical' time into your day, I do understand that often the day can catch up to us and leave us without the full hour (or whatever it usually takes) that we may be needing to get our arse's down to the gym and smash out whatever it is that we would have otherwise planned on doing.
You see, in order for your productive habits to flourish, you have to make sure that you are constantly putting in the required action to building or maintaining that particular habit, and whether or not you believe the importance of what I'm saying, it only takes in most cases 3 days to fall off the wagon.
So what I recommend is that definitely, next time you find yourself experiencing your 3rd sedentary day in a row, just jump on over an find yourself a 15 - 25 minute workout and make sure you keep moving forward ASAP.
That's why I'm putting together these workouts for you guys.
Each Survival Workout is HIIT (High Intensity Interval Training) circuit designed to be completed within 10 to 25 minutes and will have you not only torching your entire body, you will also be burning the same, if not more energy than you would have otherwise worked off in a typical hour session at the gym.
Check this one out...
So all you need for this particular workout is your very merry self and at least 15 minutes of free time (which everyone does).
Perform 2 - 5 Sets
30 Sec Work / 10 Sec Rest
Sumo Hop Burpees
Speed Skaters
Jump Squats
Mountain Climbers
Alternating Plyo Lunges
Dive Bombers
Rest for 50 Sec and Repeat
So now it's your turn guys, any time this week if you're strapped for time and need to bust out an effective workout that's guaranteed to keep you moving forward and have you sleeping like a baby, give this one a crack? Also let me know how you go :D
Also for being a legend and checking out this blog post, I'd love to offer you a FREE Gift, it's a PDF of a 7 Day Structured Training Plan and is designed for anyone who's ready to quit being a little B!#ch and start dominating their life.
Stay Motivated
Jared Hansen
